We follow it for 18 km. It is moderately difficult until the junction of the small track to the left and the falls.

Then three very demanding kilometers follow. The track becomes narrower and the lower branches pose some problems. The last 400 m are the most difficult with a small bridge in very bad condition and more difficult to access.

We arrive on the site. There is a kind of encampment with a few boxes. Hard to say if this camp is under construction, in service or abandoned.

We are not alone, a young Romanian motorcycle couple has pitched his tent. They have been here since yesterday afternoon. Radu and Andrea. They have been on the road since early September and have reached the end of their journey here. For them, these falls are one of the high lights of their journey. Here they go back home. Tomorrow direction Senegal!

The young manager of the camp makes his appearance by moped. In fact the site is managed by "the youth association for the promotion of tourism in Diari". Everything is transparent, access to the site costs 20 000 GNF (€ 1.99) per person, with ticket, camp included. This young man is called Razak (or something similar) and is very friendly. He will accompany us to the falls nearby, stating that we have already paid and we do not have to pay anything extra for his company. I like this !

He shows us the access to the top of the falls where we have the best view and then disappears, leaving us to continue the visit alone. We have our swimsuits and we take the opportunity to take a powerful shower under the falls. What a massage!

Later we go for a walk to the point of view above the falls one kilometer from the camp. From there the view is superb on the falls that tumble high cliffs.
