Sine Ngayene, Senegal

2019-01-10: Sine Ngayene, amazing stones circles. "West African Stonehenge"

With 52 megalithic circles and standing stones Sine Ngayene is the largest megalithic site in Senegambia. It is to the French historian, Raymond Mauny that we owe his discovery. The site was recognized as an oral and intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO in 2006.
