Bamako, Mali

2019-02-15 : Bamako, the Niger city. Exploding of life.

Bamako, the capital of Mali, proudly located on the great west african river that is Niger, is a city that explodes with life. We stayed only two nights there as our visa expired too quickly, but we spent an entire day walking across it from the south bank of the river to the National Museum. We literally sank into the chaos of the central market (so overwhelmed by the penetrating impressions that we did not even think of keeping any photographic memories!), We loved the Medina Gallery with the wonderful Benda and we also learned a lot about Mali in the National Museum.

And the "Sleeping Camel" is a unique meeting place for overlanders with very attractive restaurant and bar and where we had the chance to meet some very nice adventurers.
