2018-09-16: Marseille and the Frioul Islands.
 
This time it is to my nephew and my niece (with their companions) that we come to Marseille to say goodbye.
We spend Sunday afternoon on the islands of Frioul, an archipelago off Marseille to which belongs the famous island of Chateau d'If. Famous thanks to the novel by Alexandre Dumas: The Count of Monte Cristo (no need to tell you the plot, I think).

And then there is Le Vieux Port -  the Old Harbour - on which we go a little stroll. An interesting recent monument: "L'Ombrière", a sky of mirrors in which Le Vieux Port is reflected ... and tourists photographing themselves in "aerial view". We are no exception.

And of course the "Bonne Mère" - Our Lady of the Guard - who watches over my nephew at dusk.

2018-09-16 : Marseille et les Iles du Frioul.

Cette fois c’est à mon neveu et à ma nièce (avec leur compagne / compagnon) que nous venons dire au revoir à Marseille.

Nous allons passer le dimanche après-midi sur les iles du Frioul, un archipel au large de Marseille auquel appartient la fameuse ile du Château d’If. Fameuse grâce au roman d’Alexandre Dumas : Le Comte de Montecristo (pas besoin de vous en raconter la trame, je pense).

Et puis il y a le Vieux-Port sur lequel nous allons un peu flâner. Un intéressant monument récent : « l’Ombrière », un ciel de miroirs dans lequel se reflètent le Vieux-Port … et les touristes qui se photographient en « vue Aérienne ». Nous ne faisons pas exception.

Et bien sûr la « Bonne Mère » - Notre Dame de la Garde – qui veille sur mon neveu au crépuscule.

 

2018-09-16: Marseille und die Frioul-Inseln.

Jetzt sind mein Neffe und meine Nichte (mit ihren Lebensgefährten) mit der Verabschiebung dran. Für sie sind wir jetzt nach Marseille gekommen.
Wir verbringen den Sonntagnachmittag auf den Inseln von Frioul, einem Archipel vor Marseille, zu dem die berühmte Insel "Chateau d'If" gehört. Berühmt durch den Roman von Alexandre Dumas: Der Graf von Monte Cristo (ich brauche nicht Ihnen die Handlung zu erzählen, denke ich).

Und dann gibt es noch Le Vieux Port - den Alten Hafen - auf dem wir einen kleinen Spaziergang machen. 
Eine interessante moderne Konstruktion: "L'Ombrière", ein Spiegelhimmel, in dem sich Le Vieux Port spiegelt ... und die Touristen, die sich in "Luftaufnahme" fotografieren. Wir sind keine Ausnahme.
 
Und natürlich die "Bonne Mère" - Notre Dame de la Garde - die in der Abenddämmerung über meinen Neffen wacht.
